Holiday Catch‑Up And Car Woes

It it was stupid. It's a, you know, Ford F-150, and the transmission cooler uh line ended up popping. And with these newer Ford trucks, they have these quick connectors that connect from the oil cooler and they go into the transmission. And my mom's been having problems with the transmission, and she was able to make it all the way from Maryland to North Carolina, and she got stuck and stuck about 10 miles away from my house. Yeah. And they were driving and they just couldn't go into gear anymore. And all the transmission fluid was just on the street.

And so some people helped them move the truck out of the way and stuff like that. And I came to come get them. We all had to smoosh in with two dogs and a cake in my truck. My truck's not that it's it's a V8 truck, but I don't have like four doors. It's like the bench seat in the back and two, you know, driver and front seats. So you know, she ended up getting the fix and stuff.

For what? Because they had Because they had stuff. So it's better to put that stuff in the bed of the truck instead of putting it um well, we didn't do it that way. I didn't take the Volvo because I need to get my brakes done on the Volvo. And I didn't trust it going that far. So I'm not gonna do that.

So they got the truck towed to my house, and then my mom got it towed from my house to Maryland.

Well thirteen. It was crazy. It got there same day. She got it fixed that same week. It was cool. It was good to go. But it was just that it was just I'd I was just like, I would say get it fixed up there. Just so you can, you know, because other than that, I would have been driving it back up. I would have had to draw it back up and then basically find a way to get back down here with the dog. So I was like, just go ahead up and just do that. But the the breaking point of this quick connector, it's like you have the quick connector, and then it's like metal. And my family is in Maryland, snow, rust, salt, it's like bound to come apart regardless. And I'm just like, that's kind of stupid to me, the way that they they did this. But anyway, um, everything got fixed, everything's done. Uh put some stuff on a smoker, it was great, fell asleep, fire went out, had to wake back up, restart the fire again. So, you know.

So Netflix had a deal announced on December 5th, 2025, basically acquiring to acquire Warner Brothers Film Studio plus HBO plus HBO Max streaming at a valued seven.

But like I was watching it and like I'm looking and I started to see like Harry Potter and certain shows that are HBO Max like originals on Netflix, and I'm like, what the fuck is going on? And I'm like, mmm, this is weird. And then like the next morning I wake up and they had sent an email about saying they were planning to acquire uh basically all that from Warner Brothers So the HBO Max, HBO, all that stuff they're getting. Um and one thing about one thing that they did not, I do not be watching Love is Wine. That I hate that show. Stupid shit. I know you watched that.

I'm not like daily like, oh, it's on Netflix. No. Like I for me, my my streaming service of choice is literally YouTube. Like I am always on YouTube.
